I met Corey August
of 2008 on an online dating site.
Never
did I imagine while fooling around on one of those websites, would I
find my future husband; someone to whom I could make a lasting
connection with. He was not what I had pictured but
I
sent him an email and was surprised when he wrote me back a few days
later. Soon, our conversations, and our love grew.
A drive around
Ludington Park late one January night
was a
telltale sign that something special was happening. We saw a shooting
star and a display of fireworks lighting up the sky. We parked and
looked out at the water, and that's when he told me he loved me. If
that wasn't enough, more fireworks were going off when he was driving
me home, right above us, filtering through the starry night. It didn't
take me long to know he was someone I could potentially see forever
with.
February came
along and our relationship was stronger
than
either of us had ever felt before. We talked about marriage, and
decided when the time felt right we would tie the knot. Shortly after,
we found out I was expecting. We had a small ceremony with immediate
family and moved on with our daily lives.
However, we
both regretted not having our large
wedding with
all of our friends and extended family and decided to do it right! With
dreams in my head of what it would look like, I had a quite the project
trying to figure out how to make it come to life; my life proved too
hectic with being pregnant and caring for a two-year-old, let alone
think of planning a wedding. So, I went back to the resource that began
this escapade, the internet. 
When I
found Final Touches Designs website, I couldn't
believe someone local was capable of creating such a majestic
atmosphere. It was like something one only sees in a magazine. It took
only a single consultation and Tiffany laid out all the details that I
had envisioned for a perfect wedding. Final Touches has the highest
quality of products and services that are available. Her table linens,
chair coverings, draping, uplighting, glassware and decor to say the
least are unique and customized to fit each occasion. She went above
and beyond to transform the Bark River Senior Center's cafeteria look
into an elegant hall that took everyone's breath away.
I had so much pride walking down the aisle again, seeing my visions come to life. All my family and friends there were amazed at the beauty of their surroundings. Everyone is still commenting today how they have never seen such a drab place transform as it did. Tiffany, my personal star, made my experience so stress free, because of her precision to details and flawless execution. I can't thank Final Touches Designs enough for making my day to shine become a dream come true!
